While players are encouraged to purchase their own gear, the Club understands that parents of players new to the sport of Lacrosse may not be ready to fully invest in a complete set of gear. La Jolla Lacrosse now offers an Equipment Loaner Program for first time lacrosse players. Here is how the loaner program works:
Players must contact Greg MacLean ASAP at email@example.com to be placed on the loaner program list for the upcoming season.
There is a charge per player to participate in the loaner program. This fee must be paid in full before the player can receive the equipment.
The fees are:
Boys Full Set (helmet, stick, shoulder pads, elbow pads and gloves): $100
Boys Partial Set (stick, shoulder pads, elbow pads and gloves): $75
Girls Set (goggles and stick): $50
Loaned equipment will be distributed at the first practice of the season, and must be returned to the Club directly following the last game of the season.**
Boy’s equipment loaned out includes: lacrosse stick, helmet, arm pads and shoulder pads. Note that mouth guards, cleats and protective cups will NOT be loaned out through this program, and must be provided by the players.
Girl’s equipment loaned out includes: lacrosse stick and goggles. Note that mouth guards and cleats will NOT be loaned out through this program, and must be provided by the players.
All loans will be made subject to equipment availability. When requesting that a boy player be placed on the loaner program list, please indicate that player’s age, shirt size, glove size and helmet size. No sizing information is needed for girl’s equipment.
** PLEASE e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the loaner list ASAP.
